PASSAGE

Once we accept that our efforts to resist change are futile, we can attain a significant milestone and state in our spiritual journey – surrender. Sings will surround us our entire life, serving as constant reminders that life is not what we were told it is and that there is very little that we have control over.

In my own journey, I often felt a sense of solitude while trying to comprehend the countless coincidences that occurred in my life. When confusion arose, I sought guidance by closing the inner curtains of my mind, emptying it of thoughts, judgments, and logic, and simply listening.

This last year was packed with various happenings, sleep deprivation, and a whirlwind of thoughts. I’m aware that profound transformations are occurring within me. Having experienced similar shifts in the past, I know now how to identify them.

I also, consistently inquire from a higher force, and I invariably receive responses.

Last week, I disembarked from the bus that had transported us to a picturesque forest setting for a family wedding and I smoothed my emerald-green dress as I crossed the street. Just before I entered the gates to this green paradise, I stumbled upon a small oracle card that went unnoticed even if it defied completely the cleanliness and high standards of the venue. How did you find me all the way here? There I was, in the middle of nowhere, in a Portuguese forest with the closest town more than an hour away, staring at this colorful card that seemed to have dropped from another dimension. Needless to say, I spent the rest of the night with a hazy mind, shifting between timelines and trying my best to look like I belonged and I was interested. In the background of every conversation I have had, there was this unshakable feeling that I was going to slip into a hole.

As soon as I returned home, I got my hands on this oracle card deck to seek my answer and what an answer it was indeed.

I’ve embraced my destiny, guided by a profound certainty that assures me everything is as it should be. I do not question any longer my purpose, or my misfortunes nor do I fear success. I am a mere tool used by a Cosmic Force to serve a purpose, designated to be part of a grand ensemble of experiences, lessons, tragedies, and love.

Standing Stones – Passage

As you walk, you come across large vertical stones standing in a circle in the center of the sacred forest. You know that to step inside this sacred ring is not to be undertaken lightly. It is an act of power. With solemn grace, you enter. Immediately you feel a shift occur within you. It’s as if the floodgates of your soul have opened, and there is a download of cosmic information occurring within you.

Many believe that standing stones are a place that allows one to embark on spiritual journeys from one realm to another. They can also mark the transition from one stage of life to another. Remember that although life changes, you are eternal. Celebrate all the transitions in life, and you will experience profound harmony. A voyage of the heart and soul is ahead. This journey may be spiritual or physical; in either case, it is a kind of sacred pilgrimage. Have courage. A great ship can stay safe in the harbor, but that is not what great ships are made for. Be willing to unfurl your sails and set forth to the open seas. The seas might be rough and the wind is strong, but you are safe and protected. The circle of stone takes you exactly where you need to go.

Since the earliest days of humanity, standing stones have been created as places of ceremonies and as ways to honor the Divine. Archeologists have found some that date back to 4000 B.C.E. Neolithic people didn’t have written language, yet their art and stone circles suggest that they held religious rituals at these ceremonial meeting places.
