Who wants to go for a quick Rumba?

I believe a valuable trait is the capacity to swiftly recover after a significant setback. Allowing oneself time to experience sorrow or feel a lack of love, luck, and opportunity is important, yet accepting the situation and moving forward from it as soon as humanely possible is crucial.

What I have always known is that I can’t be any good to myself and to anyone if I am going to let my misfortunes drown me.
Given a choice between being labeled as “unemotional” or “that poor woman”, I’d prefer the first. It’s not that I identify with either label, but many people tend to think in simplistic, two-dimensional terms.
“That poor woman” label does nothing for me but serves as a perfect table talk for others. At its core, it carries a condescending tone and would never even capture the complexity of one person’s experiences.
I prefer if others find me “eccentric” for handling difficulties in my unique way, even if it puzzles them.
“Isabela, forget about the outside chatter! You do you!”

I also tend to avoid spending extended periods with individuals who constantly seem to be seeking the sympathetic head tilt. If I’m not careful, their constant need for enablement could draw me into the depths of their personal struggles, forcing me to grapple with both their misery and my own.
No matter how much help you would offer them, many of these people opt to remain under the shadow of their failures or past hurts. Those with low resilience seek for sympathy and support that enables their behavior, causing them to miss out on the world’s joys for years!

People overlook that life is pure magic, and one is never obsolete unless one willingly decides to be.

And my God, the return to oneself following a setback is undeniably one of the most exhilarating sensations. It is this intense, wonderful feeling that fills your entire body and transforms every dreary moment into a freaking beautiful joy.
Just like miraculously regrowing new skin after a severe burn, you step into this blushing, newborn flesh.
One day, you awaken, roll in your bed, wiggle your toes, sense the air filling your lungs, and realize you have a wealth of life ahead. You stroll into your closet, asking your beautiful clothes:“Which one of you wants to go for a quick rumba today?” And they’re all going wild and happy to see that some of them will finally wrap themselves around you and meet with the rest of your day.
In the background, “Wonderful Life” by Black sets the tone while your spoon twirls in your coffee, playfully flirting with your attire. As these elements mingle, they generate circles of energy, interacting in ways beyond imagination.
And that is how, even in their solitude, humans, by mastering their minds, gain mastery over the spirit of everything around them.
